bios update for 16gb on 2011 (mid) MBP ?

Is there a bios upgrade for the early 2011 MBP to allow the running of 16gb ram ?

Mac computers do not have a BIOS. If you wish to know whether or not your early 2011 MBP can accept 16 GB of memory, you can go to the OWC site and see what they say.

According to them, your machine can accept 16 GB of memory, however, it's going to be expensive.
