Hey guys, New here I hope this is the right place to post. Im going to sell my 2009 macbook Pro and I would like to completely wipe my HD. When I moved out of my pops house after college he decided to throw lots of stuff away, including my OS disks which are necessary for the erasing of my HD and reinstall of the OS. Is there any other way I can completely wipe my macbook and NOT use the disks??? Thanks!

Contact Apple and see if they can send you replacement disks. Not sure if they will charge or if they will still have them but it's worth a quick phone call.
