I got this sweet spot on my screen... my computer is fully functional and all that but that spot is SUPER annoying. I've tried wiping it with a dry cloth and blowing on it and even using a hair dryer on the cool feature but NOTHING.
Is there anyway to get rid of this demon without sending it for the million dollar repair? |

Which one? I can see several marks there, that all look like grazes on the screen. If you haven't got rid of them by doing what you have, then they are permanent I thnk. Is this a CRT screen?

Get a baby wipe, or similar, make sure it's not too wet, and clean it with that. Dry it off with a lint free cloth, and see if it's gone. It looks like it's on the surface, so it should come off with a bit of liquid assistance.

Microfibre cloth yes but Windex no. Harsh ammonia based cleaners will cause further damage.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
