Hello all,
I have a macbook pro and I am trying to use my wireless keyboard and mouse (they are from different manufactures so there are two USB receivers not one). Since the pro has two usb hubs, and they were always taken up by my wireless peripherals, I decided to buy a 4-port usb 2.0 hub. But the wireless usb receivers did not work on the 4-port usb hub? I tried some other accessories such as my targus cool matt and my thumb drive and they seem to work fine? Can somebody tell me what the problem is and how I can resolve it? Thanks for your help in advance!! |

Is the hub powered? If not this is most likely the issue.
If it's passive all of the power has to be drawn from the Mac's usb ports, and it can't supply enough. Try my custom Mac Forums Search Engine: Mac Forums Google Search Please use the reputation system if you consider any help given useful (it's the little ✓/✘ on the left <---) ![]() |
