Hello. I am trying to reformat and delete everything from my latest MBP. I am running lion and did the command-r reformat but after everything completed all my files and applications were still on the machine. How can I remove everything and start with a fresh OS?

Did you boot into the Recovery Partition first and use Disk Utility to reformat?

What "command-r reformat?" I've never heard of this.
