I am planning on buying a 15.4 2011 Macbook pro in the next few days. One thing i forgot to look at or research is 3D content.

I have a 3D TV and i would like to play 3D films either in .MKV format (my own movie rips) or via 3D BluRay DVD

If i understand this right the macbook does not come with a BluRay play, So can i just buy an external one and hook it up to the Macbook?

Will the macbook play 3D .MKV files and output to my TV?

Thanks in advance

QUOTE Thanks
