Stop macbook sleeping with lid open?

How can I stop my macbook going to sleep when the lid is left open?

I don't mind it sleeping when the lid is closed but how do you stop it from going to sleep if you leave the lid open?

Mac Specs: 2008 and 2011 15" mbps, late 11 iMac, iPhone 4s, and too many ipods and other stuff

Dysfunction is offline
System Preferences > Energy Saver

move the top slider to 'Never'.
