Riddle me this? Is it possible to create a home made time capsule on my home network?

This is my situation. I bought a Lacie 3TB hardrive to back up my MacBook Pro. I know I should have bought an actual time capsule but hindsight is 20/20. This is my set-up: I have a macbook pro, ps3 and windows based desktop all on same network. I am thinking there has to be a way with either PS3 or desktop to create impromptu time capsule over wifi.

Lay it on me.

Yes. Buy a $130 Airport Extreme and plug the Lacie into it.
