Strange problem with my PowerBook

Mac Specs: 17" MacBook Pro

Benjamindaines is offline
I have it in screen spanning mode and it wont stay a sleep. I choose sleep from the apple menu and a little while later it wakes up.

Is it possible that the screen you are spanning to is active? Would that wake it up? Is that what sceen spanning is?
