can you add a superdrive to ibook?

hey i have the 12.1 inch ibook, and im wondering if i can change the combo drive to superdrive, thanks! Mike. (i dont think so, but im curious)

i am not sure but it would probably be cheaper and easyer ta get an external one. It wouldn suck ta have ta carry it with you and your ibook all the time though. I am sure someone knows if it can be done.

Here is a company that I just used to upgrade my HD in my iBook. There really fast in getting you machine back. Now I have an older iBook which they would not upgrade the cd drive b/c mine is a G3. I know that they will do it on a G4

http://www.pbfixit.com has them for sale and also has the installation guide online. its pretty technical but it can be done.
