I'm pretty new to Mac but not computers. I have a white MacBook (7,1) and what memory it can use is confusing. I see in quite a few places that 4GB is the max I can use. Still on quite a few memory websites I see for sale 8GB kits that they are telling me will work. I just don't want to waste my money on memory that might work or won't work at all. I don't want to buy 8GB if it won't work but I also don't want to buy 4GB when I can use 8GB.

Can ya'll recommend a site and/or brand I should steer towards as I understand the Mac can be kind of picky/finicky?

It downloads fine and runs fine but I don't/can't get the results. It tells me the page could not be displayed.
