Okay, so, ive never done anything other than install ram that has to do with internaly in my ibook.

So, im going to buy a 60 GB hard drive and have it put into my iBook but i have a few questions like

1) Does it cost anything if i go to an apple certified store?
2) Do i have to "Reserve" a time?
3) Any checks i should make sure about before i take it back home (speakers, mic, etc ?)

heh, its my first mac and i want to be sure about everything, you know how it is.

Thanks Yous for reading / responding.

by apple certified store do you mean an apple store or something along the lines of compusa? if i'm not mistaken i don't think the apple store will install a 3rd party hdd or any other 3rd party hardware.

anyone else hear this or know for sure?
