Are these compatible with the MacBook Pro 15 (Early 2011)?

Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 HyperX Plug n Play Laptop Memory Model KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G

Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1866 HyperX Plug n Play Laptop Memory Model KHX1866C11S3P1K2/8G

OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-240G 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

And if so, which of the two RAM modules are better? The 1600MHz is CL9 and the 1866MHz is CL11.

Neither module sets are the correct ones for your 2011 MPB. Your machine uses this:

2 - 204-pin PC-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM

Which you can purchase either from Crucial or OWC. Both sellers are highly recommended. The SSD likewise can be purchased from OWC. LINK

I've been looking at multiple forums and they say the KHX1600C9S3K2/8G will work (1600MHz)

but i'm more interested in the 1866MHz... I also found this on amazon:
Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Kingston HyperX Plug n Play 8 GB Kit (2x4GB Modules) 1866MHz DDR3 SODIMM Notebook/Netbook Memory 8 Dual Channel Kit (PC3 15000) 204-Pin KHX1866C11S3P1K2/8G
The guy who bought it says it over heats... so i'm curious about that...

go for it anyways?

Did you read what I wrote above? That memory you linked to will not work in your MacBook Pro. Use only the memory type and speed that I stated in my first reply.

Amazing how far some marketing fluff terms like "HyperX" will have that kind of effect on people.

Buy the modules that your machine is rated for, period. Even if you purchase a module that has a higher speed rating, doesn't machine your magically scales up to the higher speed. The effective speed of the module is determined by what your chipset supports.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

If you think it will work, purchase the memory, install it, and let us know.
