Shift key is stuck (always enabled) so, I want try fix it by disconnecting it from logic board for couple minutes.

But somewhere I read, that Apple stopped put such thing in their laptops long ago...

By the way, I disassemble my MacBook and didn't find, anything, that looked like the battery.

P.S. Sorry for my English.

See if your MacBook model is on this list (click on the "compatibility" tab):

MacBook 13" PRAM Battery

...since this is the PRAM battery for many MacBook models.

If you want to reset things...follow this:

Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

HTH,

- Nick

Edit: Just double checked the PRAM battery list...and a A1342 MacBook is listed at the bottom.
