I got Lion on the release day. Everything worked very well for the first couple weeks with minor hiccups in recent months. In the past month or so however my 2010 Macbook Pro has been constantly crashing due to "WindowServer" and "kernel task". Additionally I woke up one morning to "Battery Condition: Replace Now" so now it has to remain plugged in. I also use a 24 inch Dell Ultrasharp external display. I'm pretty frustrated. I have tried resetting the SMC and disk repair.

Do you still have Applecare remaining on it?
