Hi friends,

I am using mac book from 2007. Recently i checked that F2 key (for increasing brightness) is not working. I also checked the keyboard options and unchecked the selection for f1 and f2 keys to use their individual functionality.

also tried by selecting the same option and using Fn+F2 but no luck..

F1 key is working fine in both the cases.

Please help me..

Check the System Preferences->Speech and make sure the Listening Key isn't bound to the F2 key. If it is, change it and see if that resolves the issue.
