Ive been using a firewire mixer and usb midi interface simultaneously with my macbook for a long time and have never had any issues. however, starting yesterday every time i plug in the usb midi interface it cuts out my firewire connection. this is getting extremely frustrating! also, my headphone jack connection has become very sketchy (have to move it around to get a sound and the other day couldnt get sound out of my internal speakers). maybe theyre related? i tried plugging in a usb wire with nothing connected to it and it did not cut out the connection, it only cuts out when the usb device is connected. any ideas?
