I'm connecting an external monitor to my 17"MBP (I'm running Os 10.6.8)
It seems like everything is blown up on the external. When I drag something over to it, I need to drastically shrink it so that I can use it. I imagine there is some simple setting to change in System Preferences to change this, but I'm not sure what it is. Thoughts? |

The resolution setting on the external monitor is most likely not set correctly. Go to "System Preferences" > "Display's"...and set the resolution.
