Ok here's the deal. I'm switching over from long time pc guy an getting a MacBook pro for school. Here's the problem.. Idk if I want a 13 or 15 inch... I know the 15 inch has a better graphics card and quad core... But it's also more money and this is going to be my computer no desktop in the picture..

Bottom line sell me on the 13 inch haha tell me why I should get a 13 over 15 inch. I plan to play games( the ones I can) and all normal laptop type things so sell me. And don't refer me to the airs i don't want one.
Thank you in advance

There is no question the 15" MBP is a much more capable machine than the 13" MBP. You get discrete graphics, a larger hard drive, better display, and so on. So I guess it comes down to the cost.... Buy what you think you can afford.

Yeah after tax and with the 100 bucks off with the school discount online.. 15 is 1824 and 13 is 1524.. Without anything extra of course..thank you. Quick question... If I decide not to get apple care when I buy can you get that anytime after or have to when you buy the computer?

Consider buying refurbished to save $$ and covering it with the Applecare or check out Gainsaver.com- older used (tested) equipment but I have always had good luck with their stuff; MBP 17" for $900-$1200.

"If I decide not to get apple care when I buy can you get that anytime after or have to when you buy the computer?"
You can buy the Applecare separately but it does need to be initiated within a certain period post purchase; check w/ Apple. Shop Amazon, Ebay etc. to get better pricing on the Applecare and be sure to buy the correct package for the machine you end up with.

Also Apple Care is cheaper for students to begin with, and if you purchase it after the first 90 days you don't get phone support.

However, check out this article regarding apple care:

I thought it was pretty interesting.
