SO... my sister is having a wedding and i need a display adaptor for a projector. is there a specific adaptor i need?

is there any compatiblty problems with the ibook and run of the mill lcd projectors? have a presentation to do out of town soon and plan to do it with my ibook. some showing off.........
no idea what kind of projector they have over there.
