I have a MacBook Pro from 2006. It still works like a charm except for one thing. A few months ago the AC adapter stopped charging, so I bought a new one. It was working great until a few weeks ago. The stages have been getting worse. It started where it would not charge unless I unplugged and replugged or wiggled the magnetic end attached to the computer. Now, if I want it to work and I am lucky I have to unplug from the wall and the computer, plug into the wall, plug into the computer and pull the end near the computer "just right" for whatever it is to work and it will charge. If anything pulls at it the wrong way, it will stop charging again.
