How to connect to windows server.

I am trying to connect to my university mail server. Following is the address of my drive on my university website "uni.mdx.ac.uk\staff\home\mbs". However, when i tried to connect to this server using connect to server from menu it says me connection failed. Could someone advise me how can i connect to this server.
