Congrats on the new machine. New toys are always so nice.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Though I'd share the excitement too I picked up my first MacBook Pro on craigslist yesterday too. Got a 2009 15" 2.8ghz for 700 with a year of applecare left, I am on cloud 9, this thing is amazing.

If you're like me; you probably won't be buying a Windows PC ever again.

Enjoy your new machine!

its always nice getting new toys especially since my girlfriend bought an ipad 2 and a bunch of other stuff. so now we have his and hers setups (as gay as it sounds) HIS: MBP 13" i5/320GB-iPad 1 16GB/Wifi HERS: Macbook 13" Core 2/250GB-iPad 2 16GB/Wifi. its perfect setups. my macbook was the best money spent outside of my camera

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I know you'll never go back to Windows now - not since you got that new toy. I made the switch-over about ten years ago and haven't looked back since. I got my first laptop with the G4 Power Book 12" 1.5 GHz, 80 GB HDD. In 2008 I moved up to a Black MacBook with the 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD (I added that HDD a lot later. Te Original was a 250 GB HDD.) IN 2010 I GOT MY FIRST MacBook Pro, 1 15" 2.8 GHz Core i7, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HDD with the Hi-res, Matte screen. I Love it as I'm sure you love your new MacBook Pro. I don't know about you, but I haven't even thought about Windows since I made the switch. I hope you enjoy your new machine. Happy computing!!!
