I am fixing up a MacBook Unibody (MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.0 13" (Unibody) Specs (Late 2008/Aluminum, MB466LL/A, MacBook5,1, A1278, 2254) @ EveryMac.com).
It needed a new screen. I replaced it, and screen won't turn on. All the cables are hooked up. Here is the screen I purchased: NEW APPLE MACBOOK Unibody Aluminum LCD SCREEN 13.3" LED - eBay (item 200398955448 end time Jul-18-11 17:37:14 PDT) Do you suggest I connect it to an external and try to configure it? The cracked screen did indeed turn on. I also have noticed that the lid does not close. I have read that the MacBook PRO 13" aluminum screens have different magnets or something. I am concerned I was given a MBP screen. Any input right now would be helpful! I am stumped. |
