I would assume you want to use a External Drive? I would recommend a OEM harddrive, Like I bought my 400gb from Newegg.com, and bought the enclosure at Circuit City. Its USB2.0 and works flawlsy on my Mac.
If you decide to go that route, make sure the enclosure can support large Harddrives. This way also tends to be cheaper then buying a 'all-in-one' drive. |

As for hard drives, my preference for hard drive brands are Seagate. Ive been running Seagate's in almost everything that has a hard drive, i trust Seagate more than any other brand, but that's just my preference. western digital and Maxtor scare me a little because they make to much noise for my likings, and the life span on Maxtor's don't seem to be very long compared to the Seagate drives. but that's my opinion.
