Down to 2Hey guys I have been doing some research and these are the two macs im down to.
Apple MacBook Pro Spring 2010 (Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 13-inch)
or
Apple MacBook Pro Winter 2011 (2.3GHz Core i5, 13-inch)
I heard the later model has slightly better graphics and battery life, but the processor is a good amount faster on the 2011 model. What else should I know about these two?

Always buy the most you can afford..in this case, the 2011 MBP does have a newer/better processors and graphics as well..depending on the price difference between the two, that might not be a trivial thing to base your decision on..if the difference is just a couple hundred, then it's no biggie, but if the difference is greater than $500 or so..not so trivial then..
Now do realize that the Core2Duo is dual core processor while the i5 is a quad core processor..so that's going to be more "future-proof" if that was even really possible..Mac-Forums is shutting down in the near future. Read this thread to learn more.

Alright the only thing I was a little worried about is that I have heard the past model could run games a little bit better? Its not going to be a huge deal to me but any insight into that.

I haven't been a PC gamer for a very long time..and was never a Mac gamer..so I really have no insight there..hopefully other Mac gamers will have some insight there..
