I have the Applecare warranty on my 17" mbp, the charger is broken and I need to get it replaced. Is applecare valid at just applestores and/or resellers such as this one as well?

Micro-Boutique

Thanks.

If they are an Apple Authorized Service Provider, i.e., repair center, then yes. They should honor your AppleCare agreement just like an Apple Store would. However, looking at their website, it would appear they can sell Macs, but not service. There are a number of places in Montreal that offer Apple service. I've attached a screen cap of just a quick list.
