Hi guys,

i split water on my macbook couple days ago and sadly apple told me it would cost 350 pounds to fix! so i thought id rather get a new laptop. Do you guys think a new macbook pro will be released soon? i know they released a improved one recently but im wondering if there would be another one coming soon? i don't want to get one and realizing they're updating it few months down the linen!

Please let me know what u think!

In answer to your question - no, the MacBook Pros were just refreshed in late February and are very much up-to-date technology-wise.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

No one really knows, but webpages like this one track things like average time between model refreshes and guess the likelihood of a new model being released soon based on that. I would say it's unlikely it'll happen any time in the next few months, mainly for the reason cwa stated.

The current lineup of the MBP are already using the most recent Intel mobile chips. Can't see anything that would cause a refresh in the line until Intel introduces the next chips.
