Battery no charging

Hi,
my battery is not charging even though the charger is plugged in. The green light is on but it still says "not charging" and remains at 90%. Have tried unplugging, rebooting etc but the issue remains?

While normally you'd see it at somewhere between 93-95% in this behavior read the following tech doc. Try running the battery down a bit, then connect the charger again (personally I'd calibrate the battery, second link)

neither worked and currently at 58% and not charging - any suggestions?
