External storage problem with older macbook

I use my wife's old macbook MA700 MacBook2,1 (ver. 10.4.11) and I recently lost my Kingston Traveler and decided to get something cool and nifty to replace it. I bought this Kingston microSDHC card with a USB reader. Got it in the mail today, put it in, and nothing. So then I dug around looking for it on Finder, the desktop, search function, disk utility, and still nada. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Edit-Well this is embarrassing. Having never used USB 2.0, I've been putting it in upside down...case closed. Last edited by Treker22; 06-02-2011 at 05:50 PM. |
