I stupidly deleted the Mail application on my Macbook Pro by putting it in the trash and emptying it. Is there any way I can restore it?

Thanks

As said above, you can reinstall it from the Install Disk.
Insert the Disk and when it has mounted in the Finder look for the Optional Installs folder (It may be hiding so scroll down), open it and then open the Optional Installs installer package.
