I have had a Mac Book Pro 13" for about 20 months now.

I always follow guidelines about discharging the battery to zero about 3 to 4 times when using for first times etc
I was wondering, since the battery is not easily accessible - is there a way to keep the battery in optimum power mode, when using - obviously plugged into the mains ?

I have an Acer Windows 7 laptop, and I recently took out the fully-charged internal battery as I usually use it from the mains.

Live each day as it comes - it may be your last !?

It's all been said and most of us are tired of reiterating it. This question has been asked and answered on these forums and every other established Apple forum you can find innumerable times.

You should be able to find them with not a whole lot of effort spent searching.
You would also find a great deal more info by reading the last 10 threads or so than you'll ever get in response to a single thread due to many of us already answering this until we were blue in the face.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
