I have had countless people tell me to go Windows for engineering but I can't seem to find any laptops that compare to a MBP. I just love the sleek design and build quality. So I was wondering if there were any engineering majors in here who use/used a macbook pro in college? Was it frustrating having to use bootcamp? Just curious to hear peoples experiences/opinions. I'm going for Electrical/Computer Engineering if that makes any difference.

My brother is at RIT for computer/electrical engineering. He uses a MacBook Pro for most of his classes, but also has a PC laptop for dinking around and screwing with.
