A few times it's just went to sleep with no warning with anything up to 50% still showing on the meter. Then when i plug in the power cable it is showing 0%.

I bought this new 24months ago and it's a MacBookPro5,1. Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz

Battery Information:
Model Information:
Serial Number: SMP-bq20z951-3a95-181e
Manufacturer: SMP
Device name: bq20z951
Pack Lot Code: 0000
PCB Lot Code: 0000
Firmware Version: 002a
Hardware Revision: 000a
Cell Revision: 0100
Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 256
Fully charged: No
Charging: Yes
Full charge capacity (mAh): 1755
Health Information:
Cycle count: 364
Condition: Poor
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 865
Voltage (mV): 12258

Condition says poor there, but I'm sure it was in good condition a month or two ago... it's deteriorated badly recently. I do calibrate the battery every couple of months.

It says it is 1755mAh at full capacity, that was 4600mAh when it was new.

There's an Apple store I could take it to in Glasgow, what we talking for a new one?

$129 for a new one retail or $99 for a service part (USD). Difference is a retail battery will have a full 1-year warranty, while the service part will only have a 90-day warranty. Apple warrants removable batteries for 1 year or 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first, and you're outside the window for both.
