Hi Guys

I have a MacBook Pro 13" (uni-body) 2.26MHz with a 250GB HD.

What's the maximum size drive I can upgrade it to? 500GB or 1TB?

Also read on other forums that the 540rmp vs the 7200 rpm drives may cause extra vibration or higher power consumption (sounds plausible)

Regards

750GB. The form factor is 2.5inch 9.5mm high.
People have been cramming 1TB 12mm high drives in, but this is not designed to fit in your machine, and will not fit properly.

I have always gone for 7200RPM HDs, and have never suffered any extra heat, vibration, noise, or any noticable battery consumption.

This is my favourite 500GB HD

750GB I would go for this

6string you are a life & time saver.

Thank you very much.

I'll go for the WD, always been a fan of them

750GB it is then.

Once again thank you.
