Well I'm just wanting to research specs on macbooks from 2006-present... I just want to research simple specs like and mainly focused on what processors came in what years... Then I want to read things like what is the difference between dual core processor and the dual core 2 processor... Is there anything on this site with this info or anybody know I site I can look for it? Like I stated I really just need the main specs and don't need to know every single thing that is different from a 2006 and 2007 that makes me read ten pages... Need to know things like how many times in a year does mac come out with a newer model? Is it usually certain times of the year? I'm not talking about a macbook vs a macbook pro... I'm simply talking about comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges... Like when does the models get its update of new processors?

And look up Everymac.com.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
