Hello

I m trying to get that backslash on my Open Office document but it is not working when i push "Shift + 7" i get a noice from my Mcbook and that is it. I don t know how to set it, is there somebody that can help me ??

Could you provide model details of your macbook please, as then we can determine where the problem lies.

Try using alt+shift+7 and post back the result

It works! But i still do not understand why it changed ? Before i had just to press alt+7.
Any ideas what have gone wrong ?

Glad it works, as for why not too sure really, have you been using it in different languages like German or French? Those keyboard layouts using shift+alt+7

I has Paralell Desktop runing on my Mac but i now it is switched off so i was asuming the layout would then be back to normal. I m glad it works again it safes me from going other ways that are much looooonger. Is there a way to set the shortkey back to "alt*+7" ??
