Hi

I have just gotten a new MacBook Pro (the new model)

I have a need to be able to close the lid, without the Mac gooing to sleep and thereby loosing my internet, killing my VPN.
I realize that there can be heating problems, but it is only for short periods of time.

I know that this can work if I attached an external unit, but that does not make sense in my case.

I looked for solution (it seems that there are a lot that want this option)
And I've tryed 2 programs, that I can't get to work
  • InsomniaX
  • SmartSleep

Both should be able to do the trick, but in my case they don't - I assuming that it is becouse its a new model, since the reviews does not indicate that there are problems

Does anyboddy have any ideers on how to do this?

Thanks

did you turn in insomniax on before closing the lid, in the menubar?
