Hi There,

I have read lots of "scary" posts about wireless connectivity issues in the new MBP (If only I knew ) but I thought I'd post a new question about my problem anyway to make sure I am not missing something simple .

The question is about a Macbook Pro i7 15.4 2.2 (Mar 2011) running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (Bootcamp)

Under Windows 7, I am unable to connect my brand new i7 15.4 MBP to my home wireless network unless sitting in close proximity of the (wireless)router even though it works fine in MacOS.
It sees the network, but when I click "connect", it says that it cannot connect. If I establish the connection and then move to another room, it looks like the connection is ok but as soon as I try to load a webpage for instance, the connection become unavailable (drops).

I got the latest version of everything, beside the router (why would I? since ALL my other devices have no issue, including IPhone, old MacBook, PC, Acer laptop, Nokia Phone)

I tried to adjust various driver configuration but no luck there either.

Does anyone have any idea?

I ended up digging out an old usb wireless adapter I bought at least 4 years ago, just to get the Internet on my top-of-the-range laptop - very disappointing I must say.

I burned the drivers onto a cd for later use, as instructed. I installed Windows 7 64 bit into the ntfs formatted partition.Windows seems to be working well, but under device list the wireless network card doesn't show up? Has anyone encountered this with Lion on a new iMac during bootcamp setup? I think I have loaded all the appropriate drivers.

I need help.

Thanks.

Loaded W7 on my new MAB and it does not see the network adapter either. Since none answered the above I will look elsewhere on this forum
Happy Byrd Day!

For me, the fix was loading the drivers from Bootcamp off my USB while in Windows.
But thanks for the reply. Enjoy your Byrd This Day.
