Hello all. I downloaded a pdf last week that is giving me problems. Whenever I try to open it my MacBook freezes up with the little spinning rainbow. I finally got it to the trash, but when I try to empty the trash but I get this error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36) I did a search on this problem and found this solution, however I even if I tried to do this I can't copy the folder...I can't do ANYTHING with this file. I'm stumped...anyone have any ideas? Thanks!! Wendy |

If you're using Snow Leopard 10.6.3 or later, that fix doesn't apply as it was already taken care of by the update.
If you no longer want that PDF file you can force delete it from the Trash. Read this article from the X Labs and use one of the suggested methods for getting rid of the file for good. LINK |
