NightPort is on a distinguished road

Ok, so lately I have been having this odd problem with my Macbook Pro. Every couple of weeks or so a random window will pop up saying I must do a hard shutdown (hold in power button till system shuts off) and then reboot my computer. This window is often in a variety of different languages but I am assuming they all say the same thing as the English message. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they know of a fix to this problem. Any help in figuring this out would be most appreciated.

This is called a kernel panic.
What you can do is copy the log and post it here, and maybe someone who knows how to interpret the log can assist you.
This is how to get the log:

usually they are to do with hardware. you could have a faulty or unsupported peripheral device, so try unplugging all your USB/FW devices and see if it goes away.
