I recently bought a 15" Macbook Pro a mid 2009 model, I bought it to replace one that the logic board fried out or at least that is what I think happened to it. I am wondering if there is a hard drive enclosure I can buy so I can access all my pictures, movies ect from the old hard drive without having to actually put the old hard drive into the new mac. A friend told me hard drive enclosures can be bought, turning your hard drive into an external hard drive. I have been looking but haven't found anything that would work. Any information is greatly appreciated!

Here you go....
They range from USB to Firewire models, firewire obviously giving you faster transfer rates.
I would just get one of the cheap ones for what you want it for.
