Back up purchased itunes music to external HD help please

I bought about 200 music from itunes store and i dont know how to back them up to my portable external HD. I dont wanted lose the tunes i bought from itunes please help How do I backup my iTunes purchased songs onto my external hard drive? please help cheers!
