Will my macbook charge in the US from Australia?
Someone told me that id be only able to use my mac using power and will not charge!
Is this true?

As long as you get the right Power Adapter (from any airport) you will be OK. I have used a Macbook Overseas from Australia on a couple of occasions.

That someone that told you needs to re examine there life lol In this day and age you can take most things electrical to other countries these days ...

Apple sells a travel kit with a group of adapters made specifically for it's power brick. You could also look at that.

Here's the US version, not sure if there's an Australian version
