looking to expand from the 320gb that I have now..

is 640gb still the biggest drive that will fit in our computers?

    looking at this here:

    Late 2013 27" iMac, iPad 3, iPhone 6s+, iPhone 6+, 3 iPods, El Capitan
According to Other World Computing, that drive you linked to will fit in your MacBook Pro. Currently, it's the largest drive that will fit. Anything thicker than 9.5 MM should not be used.

You might want to purchase it from OWC instead of NewEgg. Take a look at the link I provided.

Than you chscag.. I couldn't find the thickness of that drive on new egg.. I'll get it through QWC.

Also.. I'm wondering if I should go with the seagate momentus hybrid drive instead? less storage though.. What are your thoughts on the hybid drives chscag?
