Hi All,

I believe i know the answer but just want to double check before splashing out cash...

I'm looking for a mini Displayport to HDMI converter for my Mac and TV. I have spotted this one on amazon and almost certain it will do.

My Mac was bought in April of 2010 and the graphics card is as follows: NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M.

Any advice is appreciated

It will do video from a mini displayport if that is all you're concerned about.

If you want to know about it also carrying audio, sorry, too tired to go look up all those Macs you have in your sig to see which one you're talking about.

I'm talking about the MBP 15" i5 2.4GHz. From looking online at the tech specs of that adapter, it says that it wil do both video & audio for 2010 mid year MBP's which mine is.

I'll take the plunge later on, whats a couple of £££....!!

Hey snake doctor I would go to apples website to see what month yours was manufactured. If it was before April 2010 then yours won't be able to use the audio feature of that mdp to hdmi.

If it's the i5 you're safe. They were intro'd with the mid 2010 models - and it does audio via mdp. Have already seen several reports of the Neet adapter working and looks to be a good price there at AmazonUK also.
