ram not working

i just got my ram today and i've tried everything but i haven't been able to make my ibook read my new ram. is there a way to make the ibook read it the ram?

first off, did you buy the correct type of ram?

did you seat it correctly? thats what happened to me.

Well i did try that but i don't know about the correct type. here's a link the page and it's has that it's for my ibook

that should work, when you inserted it, can you push down easily to snap i in place? if not dont force it but take it out and try to reposition it.

it shows to do it 30 degrees but it's more like 45
