    run on i stick of ram
    i am going to upgrade the ram so i can use aperture, can i run it on one 4gig stick then buy another 4gig later

    Yes, you can run Aperture on 4 gigs of ram.

    i mean the whole computer with one stick of ram
    so i would have the 4 gig stick and an empty slot

    I would get 2 sticks of 2 gb. But if you wanted that would work fine.

    thanks i ended up just getting 8gigs
