Has anyone had this issue with their Unibody MB? I am having an issue where my MB is plugged in and charging normally. Let's say for example it has 78% charge. I may be surfing the web reading up on stuff or whatever. Then I decide to unplug because I am going to move over to a different area of the house or whatever and the MB dies. It dies because the battery for whatever reason says it has ZERO charge. I go plug it back in and the battery registers "0" charge and begins charging from zero. If I unplug and plug back in, it somehow re-registers the 78% charge. Sometimes I have to unplug and replug a couple of times but eventually it will re-register.

One thought I had was a bad connection from battery to battery connector. So, I took the battery out and plugged it back in but I still have the same issue.

Any ideas anyone?

Probably time for a new battery. How old is the battery?

It is the original battery. MB will be 2 yrs old in Feb. I would think the battery is still good as it still holds the charge. It seems like just a connection issue of sorts.
