Hi All,

Have a couple of issues with my 13" Macbook Pro and looking for advice please.

Firstly the Hard Drive Repair Permissions progress bar just stays in one place and does not go across like it used to. The whole procedure takes about 9 minutes to repair but puzzled why the above should happen.

Secondly, my Hard Drive changed its name by itself when I turned on today. I have changed it back to Hard Drive and it seems ok but does anyone know why it should do this. I wondered if I had a virus issue causing these two problems.

Thanks

Try repairing the permissions when booted off the installation disc, maybe even disk verification and repairing.
